    She definitely cares about making the BME experience valuable from freshman year onwards. Even though BME modeling and design is technically a "fun class", she is extremely dedicated to making the class a learning experience.

      Students gain a solid background in the biochemistry and cell biology which will be used in their upper level courses, specifically SBE. This is one of their first challenging BME courses, which is taught from an engineering perspective.
